A group of unique and talented individuals delivering the best in Equine Medicine at Outlaw Equine. Each team member has a specialized area of practice along with general care, and a passion for equines that is second to none.
Josh Harvey, dvm
Josh Harvey, DVM is the owner and founding veterinarian of Outlaw Equine. Dr. Harvey, originally from Florida, received his degree from Auburn University and has been practicing since 2006. Dr. Harvey established Outlaw Equine Hospital and Rehabilitation center in 2007 and has continuously developed his practice into what it is today. They offer a variety of services including: ultrasound, stem cells, stallion collection, sports medicine, regenerative therapy, PRP, performance dentistry, performance-based medicine, mobile services, IRAP, intra-articular therapy, hormone manipulation, in-depth lameness evaluation and diagnosis, a full-service equine hospital, equine reproductive facility, digital ultrasound, digital radiography, artificial insemination, 24 hour monitored ICU, and surgery center. In 2015 he started the #OETour and went nationwide with OE vet services traveling to Las Vegas, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Colorado.
Josh Goff, DVM Associate
Dr. Goff joined the OE team in July of 2017. Originally from northwest Oklahoma, he received his bachelors and DVM from Oklahoma State University. After graduation in 2016, Dr. Goff accepted a dual internship position with Oakridge Equine Hospital in Edmond, OK, and the Lazy E Ranch in Guthrie, OK. Josh grew up breeding and training Quarter Horses, so his natural interests revolve around equine reproduction, sports medicine, and lameness. When he's not at the clinic, Josh enjoys team roping, training colts, throwing the Frisbee for his Border Collie, and spending time with friends and family.
Noah Grimes, DVM Associate
Originally from Montauk, NY Dr. Grimes attended Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelors degree in animal science followed by a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Post graduation from veterinary school, Noah completed an internship at Elgin Veterinary Hospital in Elgin, TX. Following his internship, Noah joined a practice in Michigan focusing his career on equine sports medicine. During this time he traveled to many large AQHA shows such as The All American Quarter Horse Congress, AQHA World Show, and the Panty Raid Futurity providing onsite veterinary care to equine athletes. Noah grew up riding in various disciplines including barrel racing, cutting, hunter under saddle, jumping, and western pleasure. Outside of veterinary medicine Noah enjoys riding barrel horses, hiking with his dogs, swimming, exploring his surroundings and spending time with his friends and family.
Nate Lea, DVM Associate

Dr. Lea grew up Okeechobee, FL raising cattle and team roping. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies in animal science, Nate took time to pro rodeo competing in team roping. While studying veterinary medicine at the University of Florida Dr. Lea worked on a feed yard until his graduation in 2017. When Nate is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife at home.
Nate completed a one year internship at Outlaw Equine in Texas, focusing on internal medicine, rehabilitation, lameness, sports medicine, reproduction, surgery, and much more. He is now operating OE Florida full time. He primarily works out of Okeechobee, but also travels to shows and other parts of Florida and surrounding areas. Jaclyn Lott-Myers, DVM Associate

Dr. Lott-Myers grew up in Sulphur, LA on her dad Butch Lott's cutting horse facility. During her undergraduate studies at Stephen F. Austin University while studying animal science she was an active part in college rodeo competing in breakaway roping. In her time away from the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband, roping, and riding cutting horses.
Jaci completed a one year internship at Outlaw Equine in Texas, focusing on internal medicine, rehabilitation, lameness, sports medicine, reproduction, surgery, and much more. She is now operating OE Louisiana full time. She primarily works out of Scott and Sulphur currently, but also travels and goes on tours throughout other parts of Louisiana and surrounding areas. Henrique " Ricky" Merlini, DVM Associate

Dr. Merlini grew up in Paraná state, Brazil around horses and cattle at his grandparent’s farms. He's on "Quarter Horse world" since he was a little boy, around 9 years old. His interest for veterinary medicine started with his uncle and his 4 cousins that each work in different areas of veterinary medicine in Brazil. During vet school, Ricky did several externships in different areas of equine medicine such as internal medicine, sports medicine, rehabilitation and reproduction. Ricky was also was President of Equine Group of studies - Paraná state (GEEQPR 2012-2015).
Ricky has spent over a year at Outlaw Equine in Texas, focusing on rehabilitation, lameness, internal medicine, sports medicine, reproduction, surgery, and much more. He is now back home operating OE Brazil full time.
Nick Stuckman, CEQD
Nick Stuckman, CEqD, from Bucyrus, Ohio joined the OE team in August 2015. Nick graduated from Stautzenberger College, Toledo, Ohio, in 2006 and is a registered veterinary technician. Nick has been a Certified Equine Dentistry since November 2003. Nick is also an instructor at the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Idaho. Nick has also been a guest lecturer on equine dentistry at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine as well as Tiffin University.
