Josh Harvey, dvm

Josh Harvey, DVM is the owner and founding veterinarian of Outlaw Equine. Dr. Harvey, originally from Florida, received his degree from Auburn University and has been practicing since 2006. Dr. Harvey established Outlaw Equine Hospital and Rehabilitation center in 2007 and has continuously developed his practice into what it is today. They offer a variety of services including: ultrasound, stem cells, stallion collection, sports medicine, regenerative therapy, PRP, performance dentistry, performance based medicine, mobile services, IRAP, intra-articular therapy, hormone manipulation, in-depth lameness evaluation and diagnosis, a full service equine hospital, equine reproductive facility, digital ultrasound, digital radiography, artificial insemination, 24 hour monitored ICU, and surgery center. In 2015 he started the #OETour and went nation wide with OE vet services traveling to Las Vegas, Florida, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Colorado. We also started OE Gear offering a full line of adult and children’s hat, shirts, shorts and hoodies. As if that were not enough, we also launched the supplement line OE Nutraceuticals.

Nick Stuckman, CEQD

Nick Stuckman, CEqD, from Bucyrus, Ohio joined the OE team in August 2015. Nick  graduated from Stautzenberger College, Toledo, Ohio, in 2006 and is a registered veterinary technician. Nick has been a Certified Equine Dentistry since November 2003. Nick is also an instructor at the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Idaho.  Nick has also been a guest lecturer on equine dentistry at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine as well as Tiffin University.

JD Conway, DVM

JD Conway DVM joined the OE team in October 2016. H grew up with thoroughbred racehorses on a farm in Lexington, KY. His experience in the thoroughbred racing and breeding industry led him to a career choice of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Conway received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors (Animal Science) in 2008, from Texas A&M University. In 2012, he received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO where he was honored with the Equine Surgical Service Award. Throughout veterinary school Dr. Conway dedicated a significant amount of his time to equine research, specifically in the field of equine lameness and sports medicine. His research on the equine athlete has been published by the Equine Veterinary Journal (EVJ), the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), and the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). He has been a featured speaker at the ACVS and AAEP national conventions and has been invited to speak in Europe and India over his fracture research.

After graduation Dr. Conway applied for and was accepted into a competitive internship with Weatherford Equine Medical Center in Weatherford, TX. His 4 months in Weatherford included rotations in reproduction, lameness, surgery, and internal medicine. There he garnered experience from renowned equine surgeon Dr. Jeff Foland and internist Dr. Robert Franklin.

In October of 2012, Dr. Conway was offered a second internship working for Copper Springs Ranch and Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery (ESMS) in Bozeman, MT. During this time, he was able to work one on one with two highly regarded equine surgeons, Dr. Chris Ray and Dr. Ty Tipton.  The emphases during his 8 months at Copper Springs Ranch were lameness, surgery, and reproduction. Here Dr. Conway enhanced his lameness diagnosis and surgical skill sets utilizing the latest in diagnostic imaging and regenerative therapies.

Dr. Conway is an active member of the AAEP, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and the Texas Equine Veterinary Association (TEVA). He is certified in acupuncture from the International Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture and is licensed to practice in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and Montana.

Josh Goff, DVM Associate 

Dr. Goff joined the OE team in July of 2017. Originally from northwest Oklahoma, he received his bachelors and DVM from Oklahoma State University. After graduation in 2016, Dr. Goff accepted a dual internship position with Oakridge Equine Hospital in Edmond, OK, and the Lazy E Ranch in Guthrie, OK. Josh grew up breeding and training Quarter Horses, so his natural interests revolve around equine reproduction, sports medicine, and lameness. When he's not at the clinic, Josh enjoys team roping, training colts, throwing the Frisbee for his Border Collie, and spending time with friends and family. 

 

 

 


Noah Grimes, DVM Associate

Originally from Montauk, NY Dr. Grimes attended Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelors degree in animal science followed by a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Post graduation from veterinary school, Noah completed an internship at Elgin Veterinary Hospital in Elgin, TX. Following his internship, Noah joined a practice in Michigan focusing his career on equine sports medicine. During this time he traveled to many large AQHA shows such as The All American Quarter Horse Congress, AQHA World Show, and the Panty Raid Futurity providing onsite veterinary care to equine athletes. Noah grew up riding in various disciplines including barrel racing, cutting, hunter under saddle, jumping, and western pleasure. Outside of veterinary medicine Noah enjoys riding barrel horses, hiking with his dogs, swimming, exploring his surroundings and spending time with his friends and family.

Jaclyn Lott-Myers LSU College of Veterinary Medicine 2017 Dr. Lott-Myers grew up in Sulphur, LA on her dad Butch Lott's cutting horse facility. During her undergraduate studies at Stephen F. Austin University while studying animal science she was an active part in college rodeo competing in breakaway roping. In her time away from the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband, roping, and riding cutting horses.

Dalton Pate Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine 2017 Dr. Pate grew up in West Point, MS raising cattle and livestock. Always enjoying team roping he pursued a career in veterinary medicine after completing his undergrad work in animal science at Middle Tennessee State University.  Dr. Pate graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2017.  During his time off Dr. Pate likes to team rope and work agility events with his dog.
